Amsterdam Street

Teri is a past neighbor of ours.  She now owns a home in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  She and I were talking about it and she showed me a poster which had her house in it.  I offered to paint it if she sent me the picture from the poster.  I like street scenes a lot, especially when they have light and perspective.  This did and I gave it to her to hang in Amsterdam.

Gil's House

One of my friends and neighbors is Gil.  He has numerous paintings of mine that he rotates based on the seasons.  Everyone of them also has a connection back to his past, such as the Avalon beach scene, shown before in this blog.  So, he wanted a Fall scene recently but wanted it showing a past hose in Bluebell, PA.  This how it ended up, even though I had never scene the home.

Blue Forest Path

I saw this image online and loved the composition and the light coming through the trees.  I love paths and anything that has to do with them - perspective, etc.  And, so I tried to do this one.  I love the way it turned out.
